A website in Romanian and English that offers a multilingual dictionary which seems to be updated very frequently with hundreds of terms and expressions in very different (especially multi-technical) fields. Term search is achieved through a search engine, and there is a dictionary log on the right side listing the latest registered terms. Of course, the suggested terminology often depends on precise contexts and can sometimes be helpful without necessarily giving the appropriate translation. Many language combinations are available, although combinations between Romanian and English, French or German seem to offer the widest database, and it is hard for me to tell what can actually be found in other combinations. Basically: explore it to find out what it can actually offer you. ;-)

General fields: Art/Literary

Music Dictionary Online's primary purpose is, in the case of non-English words and phrases, to offer translations and, more generally, and where appropriate, to offer explanations and comments about general (non-musical) and specialist (i.e. musical, etc.) terms that might be found in musical scores, books on music, web sites, CD notes, concert programmes, etc. What distinguishes our dictionary from other dictionaries of musical terms is the inclusion of general words. Our dictionary can be used to assist the translation of non-specialist content in material whether or not it has a musical flavour. The selection of general words and phrases, drawing mainly from the English, German, Italian, French and Spanish languages (a similar range of words in Dutch is to be added later), is such as might be found in any good pocket dictionary. Our selection of specialist terms include words and phrases taken from a large number of related fields including music in all its forms, classical and modern dance, the fine arts, poetry, linguistics, history, drama, costume, architecture, cultural philosophy (including aesthetics), education, history, physics, physiology and psychology of sound and music, music and musical instrument technology (including electronics), musical instruments and musical instrument manufacture, recording, printing and publishing, some notable works and important non-composer figures in music.

Not a glossary as much as a resource for templates for pharmaceutical information, package leaflets and product summaries for medical products in the EU.
"The Working Group on the Quality Review of Documents (QRD) was established in June 1996 and is composed of representatives from Member States' national authorities, the European Commission and the EMEA.
The group provides assistance to the EMEA scientific committees and to companies on linguistic aspects of the product information (summary of product characteristics, labelling and package leaflet) for medicines. "

GlossPost Administration Note: Although strictly NOT a glossary, the EMEA website search engine retrieves source and target terms used in its technical files. To use it effectively as a term resource, key in the source term, search for it in the document, retrieve the corresponding target language document by changing the language abbreviation in the link, and search for the translation or equivalent version, which will be numbered in the same way as found in the source text.

Blacksmithing and Metalworking Terms Definitions of words as used in metalworking From the glossary introduction: Under construction as time allows. As glossaries are written in each language this index will link to them. These translations are by professional and amateur blacksmiths and metalworkers that have a working knowledge of the tools and their language. They are not linguists. The translations may not be perfect but they are better than machine translations or translations by people unfamiliar with the tools. Submissions comments and corrections welcome.
