Die deutsche Formulierung legt nahe, dass es sich hierbei weniger um einen Imperativ, sondern um die Bestätigung eines in der Vergangenheit liegenden Vorgangs handelt. (Aus Erfahrung tippe ich darauf, dass der Anwalt damit gegenüber der Gegenseite bestätigt, vom Mandanten ordnungsgemäß beauftragt / bevollmächtigt worden zu sein.)

Ich würde den Satz daher wie folgt übersetzen:
"I hereby confirm that proper authority has been granted".

Ihre eigene Übersetzung ist im Prinzip auch nicht schlecht, der unpersönliche Stil des Deutschen lässt sich hier allerdings nur schlecht ins Englische übertragen. Wenn man zudem bedenkt, dass dieses Schreiben aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach vom Vollmachtsträger selbst verfasst wurde, bietet sich mein Vorschlag an.
