Explanation: In the "Diccionario de Términos Jurídicos" de Varó y Hughes, this is defined as an appeal to the ordinary courts against decisions of the government or administration; note that contencioso-administrativo removes the matter from the administrative courts into the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts.

414 days confidence: | to file an appeal for Review of Administrative Decision
Explanation: I recently had to find a translation for this term and consulted the Lectric Law Library's Lexicon. Within the context of my text, in which an administrative decision by the Spanish Agency for Medicinal Products was communicated to a pharmaceutical laboratory (see source text excerpt below), the following translation seemed the most accurate:
http://www.lectlaw.com/def2/q065.htm
REVIEW OF ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS - The process whereby courts review decisions or adjudications regarding disputes made by an administrative body division of a government agency charged with interpreting or enforcing legislative mandates. In the instance of most federal statutes this is ultimately done by the District court with various further appellate remedies dependant on the particular circumstances.
Contra esta Resolución que pone fin a la vía administrativa puede ... interponerse Recurso Contencioso-Administrativo.
I rarely find that literal translations of legal texts are comprehensible to lawyers, although I have no doubt that many cases can be cited in which such translations are used and published.
