Professional bookworm, language lover and translation enthusiast. My native language is Dutch, and after much study and practise I consider myself near-native in English. I speak good Hebrew, but not yet good enough to translate from. I have learned Spanish, French and German in the past, but they have gone a bit rusty from lack of use... I enjoy reading and writing in several languages, and I have a good eye for detail and spelling.

I studied English Language and Literature, specialising in Translation, at Utrecht University. After my graduation in 2003, I emigrated to Israel where I now live with my husband and, more recently, two bilingual little boys. Because I live in Israel, I am available for translation work on Sundays and I can sometimes be more flexible in my rates.

My favourite work fields are tourism/travel, having worked as international kibbutz volunteer leader in Israel, and health care/cosmetics, having worked for several years in a health/cosmetics store in the Netherlands. More specific fields that I have extensive practical experience in are childcare, pregnancy and lactation, and equestrian sports.

I have done both translation and proofreading work. I have translated websites and texts, many manuals of consumer electronics and household appliances, children's books and more.

The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
