Simple handling of personal letters

 

                If
you have regular correspondence, be it personal or business letters between
Thai, English and Japanese, you probably don't want to
pay the high prices associated with professional translation charged by US,
Japanese and European companies.

 

                All
you need is a PayPal* or Moneybookers*
account and I can translate your correspondence for you via email (or fax). Just USD $20 a page (up to 25 lines at standard size). No minimum charge. I will not deduct from your account until
you have received the translation. Please tell me your account e-mail address.

 

                I
can also post letters to a Thai address more quickly and less expensively than
can be done from outside Thailand. And I can receive
letters by post to our Bangkok head office, and have them translated and
emailed to you inside the same day.

you only have paper documents you can scan them (greyscale or b/w, please-not color) and send them to me as .TIF or JPEG files.

 

                I
can advise you on the most painless way to print
foreign language files without getting involved with foreign versions of
operating systems and strange fonts.

 

                To
print Thai from a non-Thai system, a PDF file or TIF graphics pasted inside a word-processor such as MS Word is usually the most
trouble-free method. You can download a sample archive which contains Thai documents as PDF, Word, TIF images in Word, as well as a common
Thai font.

 

                The
translator is native speakers of the language he is translating into, and a
senior member of staff checks all work for accuracy.

            There are some Japanese and Thai translators but the history
is not very long.

 

    
           I
can be one of the classic JP-TH translators. In year 1972 I went to study the Japanese language and engineering in Tokyo. After 2 years,
I started JP-EN-JP translation as part-time job due to influence of one of my
classmate: Mr. Byron J. Fitzgerald, a businessman in
Tokyo who gave me much impression.

                In
year 1978, I returned to Bangkok and started a government servant job with very
very low wage. My Saturdays and Sundays were spent for part-time jobs again. I got around 5 time larger wage for 8 days/month.

                I
found I love technical/academic/legal translation. I am eager to translate to
earn new knowledge continuously.

                In
the amazing economic boom of Asia in 1990s, I was very busy translating many
technical documents. PC and computing were used while software for the Thai and
Japanese languages were rare until launch of Mac and  Windows 3.0.

    I
collected many of reference books during my days in Tokyo and New York. After
popularity of Internet, I find I use Internet-based search more than those
personal heritage of references.

version supports the default LISA metric and the SAE J2450 metric.

any given review task, all error categories and severity levels are immediately
available with a single click (see the screenshot). The computed metric (Total
field) and the PASS/FAIL status are updated with each error button click. The reviewer
can thus stop reviewing as soon as the FAIL indicator lights up. The resizable
interface maximizes the size of buttons to facilitate touch-screen input.

 

                Lightning-fast data entry

                Data
can also be entered per page or once the review is
complete. The array of error buttons behaves like a spreadsheet, but is easier
to use: you simply position the mouse over any button
and type the number. No need to click the mouse button, no
need to press ENTER. Arrow keys can also be used as in a spreadsheet.

 

                Centralized control

                A
single interface (shown above) provides access to all functions: data
