I am a bilingual accredited Professional Translator and have been living and working in Australia for the last twelve years, during which time I have been producing high-quality translations from Arabic to English and vice versa, with specialist subjects in education, business, health and legal information for Arabic-speaking communities. I also specialise in media monitoring for Australian private and government bodies and translate non-fiction books, in addition to website localisation. I am a native English language speaker, and can produce documents in both American and British English.
I am also the current National President of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators.
Extensive travel around the world, a keen creative intellect, and a multicultural background, have all contributed to honing those interpersonal skills towards professional practice, where they were carefully polished with continuous formal and practical learning.
I have an ongoing interest in encouraging business, industry and government to understand cultural issues and a commitment to encourage cross-disciplinary and multicultural approach to business, as well as to provide mentoring to Australians intending to do business with the Middle East.
In the past two years my work contacts extended to the USA, UK and France, as well as South Africa, Egypt, and UAE.
Prior to coming to Australia I lived for over twenty years in the Middle East, teaching, publishing and translating. During those years I worked for a number of regional and international publishing houses, as well as the UNICEF.
I have an extensive worldwide network of contacts for consultation and support in a vast array of fields. This enables accurate and rapid cross-checking of completed work as an additional quality-control measure. I am also a full member of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators.

Pricing is variable and negotiable. Standard jobs cost 20US$/100 words, but lower prices apply to jobs larger than 20,000 words. Urgent jobs, graphic design and scripting may incur additional fees.
