This additional tab sets out my experience of translating, editing and proofreading video game content. You will also find a list of the games I have played in this section.
Notable Recent Projects:
Full project management of a 3-man team to translate S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat, the stand alone sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Shadow of Chernobyl from Russian into English. The English translation will subsequently be used to localise the game into various other languages.
My contribution to the project involved complete project management (client liaison, identifying and recruiting team members, query management, terminology consistency etc), translation of 65,000 words of game content, voiceover scripts, internal communications and much, much more.
