I am a London based professional (and freindly) female interpreter, specializing in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and English Interpretations and Urdu (legal, medical and technological) translations.
NOW QUALIFIED WITH DPSI**** (3 MERITS AND 2 PASSES) (June 08 exam)
I have interpreting experience for many members of my community, and more than 2 years experience of weekly online translations.
I have done language and communications from M.A.N.CAT, Manchester, successfully completed the Community interpreting certificate (level 3), am currently on the DPSI prep. course and have registered for the June DPSI exam.
Currently I translate weekly medical news for a Sky TV company, I have fast and accurate typing skills for both languages, enabling me to never miss a deadline.
Apart from working with many other agencies, I am also currently volunteering for the Citizens Advice Bureau. Samples of my work can be provided.
I am a British Citizen. My interpretation is highly unique as I can speak in native accents in both target and source languages, which sets me apart from other interpreters.
I have more than 11 years of experience in using MS Office and In-Page, and can provide translated material in the form of paper documents, media files (Word and PDF), cd's and disks. My availability is all 5 working days a week and word output is 4000 per day, more when general.
Competent interpreters that also have 'people skills' are in short supply. I assure you I will bring this position both qualities if you give me the opportunity. I endeavour to always deliver an excellent service, with a smile!
