The idea of Dar Al-Tarjama (DAT) aims for the establishment of a worldwide, comprehensive translation practice, starting with the Arab countries then spreading to the rest of the world. We seek to bring together; cultures and peoples. Our team started out in October 2003 after a call from Amr Khaled in his famous program “Life Makers”. We started out less than 10 and now we are almost 600 members from more than 25 countries all over the world. All our efforts are so far voluntary and with the help of our members we have managed to form our first real legal entity. With the help of Allah we are now a self-funded, self-managed Egyptian joint-stock company with a paid up capital of 250,000.00 LE. |
