Source text - Spanish En el libro que tiene usted en sus manos se tratan, explican y glosan cerca de dos mil quinientas frases hechas, dichos modismos, locuciones, frases célebres, comparaciones populares, y expresiones proverbiales. Su recopilación que ha llevado varios años, ha resultado una dura labor que, sin embargo, no se debe aplaudir, sino más bien envidiar, pues ha sido gratificante. El acervo castellano de frases hechas, modismos y expresiones es casi inagotable. Sabedor de ello, me propuse desde un principio no perseguir inútilmente la exhaustividad. Y puesto a tratar sólo lo esencial, opté por desechar un gran número de modismos cuya inclusión, en unos casos por su escaso o nulo uso, y en otros por su significado y origen obvios, nada aportaría al conjunto. Sin descuidar la intención de llegar a alguna conclusión en cada glosa, he pretendido ampliar la representación de de frases proverbiales hasta un límite razonable y ambicioso, con el objetivo de potenciar al máximo el valor de uso de esta obra. Cierto es que otros centenares de ellas se han quedado en el tintero, pero ha de tenerse cuenta que siempre he tenido presente la enseñanza implícita en la vieja máxima que señala que "hay ciertos libros que parecen hechos para desarrollar el brazo que los sujeta que el cerebro que los asimila”. Translation - French L'atelier de conception de la Havane, fait partie du programme "Les Caraïbes à travers ses créations", créé par Culturesfrance, et est conduit conjointement par le Service de Coopération et d'Action Culturelle de l'Ambassade de France à Cuba ainsi que le Bureau de l'Historien de la Ville de la Havane. Durant une période de deux semaines, 15 jeunes dessinateurs de différents endroits, et d’identités bien variées et en même temps avec des traits culturels qui les unissent, (la France et la région des Caraïbes), se donneront rendez-vous à la Havane. L'échange entre ces professionnels dans ce cas sera sans doute une expérience sans précédent. Il s'agit de renforcer la rencontre entre différentes visions, caribéenne et française.

The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
