Les frais d’inscription couvrent : Votre participation à tous les ateliers offerts tout au long du congrès (les 13 et 14 octobre), une trousse de participant qui comprend le programme et d’autres informations utiles, deux déjeuners et quatre pauses café, ainsi qu’un dîner de réseautage qui aura lieu le soir du 13 octobre. Vous aurez également accès à l’Internet pendant le congrès.
Des inscriptions d'un jour sont disponibles: Les passes journalières ne comprennent pas le dîner de réseautage. Les inscriptions d'un jour sont disponibles sous la forme d'élément distinct, au prix de 50 $ CA. Les inscriptions d'un jour vous donnent accès à tous les ateliers offerts tout au long de la journée au cours de laquelle vous aurez choisi d’assister et elles comprennent la trousse participant, un déjeuner, deux pauses café et l’accès à l’Internet par des connexions WiFi.
Un an d’adhésion à ProZ.com sera disponible pour les nouveaux membres, au prix de 110 $ CA. Les personnes qui sont déjà membres de ProZ.com ne peuvent pas bénéficier de cette offre. Ce rabais n’est offert qu’aux personnes ayant acheté une inscriptions d'un jour ou pour l’ensemble du congrès. L’adhésion prend effet à partir du jour de paiement.
Vous avez la possibilité d'inviter d'autres personnes à participer au dîner de réseautage, au prix de 50 $ CA / 48 $ US / 35 euros par personne.
En cas de problèmes de paiement, veuillez communiquer avec l’équipe de ProZ.com pour nous expliquer votre problème (p. ex. vous avez payé ProZ.com par transfert bancaire mais votre nom ne figure pas parmi les participants, vous avez besoin d’une facture officielle pour effectuer votre paiement, vous n’êtes plus en mesure d’assister au congrès et vous souhaitez demander un remboursement, etc...)
Conditions d’annulation : « Les participants qui se désistent sept jours ou plus avant la date du congrès se verront rembourser 90 % des frais d’inscription (10% de frais d'administration seront retenus). Aucun remboursement ne sera effectué au-delà de ce pourcentage. Les remboursements seront effectués 30 jours après réception de la notification d’annulation écrite. Les annulations doivent être signalées par courriel à l’organisateur du congrès ProZ.com, ainsi qu’aux organisateurs locaux. Les membres peuvent également, à leur convenance, reporter leur paiement pour une prochaine manifestation, en le complétant si nécessaire. »

Annonce du premier congrès régional de ProZ.com à Montréal!
Un congrès régional de ProZ.com aura lieu à Montréal en octobre. Cet événement bilingue est d'abord destiné aux traducteurs et interprètes chevronnés ou débutants vivant au Canada ou utilisant le français canadien comme langue de travail. Les présentations, ateliers, groupes de discussion, ainsi que les périodes réservées aux rencontres et au réseautage se dérouleront sur deux jours, dans cette ville en constante effervescence.

Cet événement est organisé par Rebekka Gross, responsable de la planification et de l’organisation des congrès de ProZ.com, conjointement par ProZ.com et Lexi-tech International, le plus grand cabinet de traduction du Canada. Rebekka compte sur la précieuse assistance de Nancy Lynn Bogar, modératrice de ProZ.com qui travaille dans la région de Montréal.
Programme du congrès
Le programme du congrès aura pour thèmes principaux les traductions médicales, les traductions financières et les traductions pour le gouvernement et plusieurs sessions seront consacrées à ces sujets. Ces sessions seront complétées par d'autres sessions d'intérêt plus général, comme des ateliers plus techniques (par exemple les outils d'aide à la traduction [CAT]), des groupes de discussion, les questions professionnelles, etc. Si vous êtes intéressé(e) à faire une présentation, agir comme modérateur d'un groupe de discussion, ou animer un atelier pratique, envoyez un courriel aux organisateurs avec une brève description de la session proposée, en français ou en anglais et nous vous répondrons pour en discuter avec vous. Le conférencier principal pourrait recevoir une rémunération pour son intervention. La plupart des autres sessions seront proposées de façon bénévole par des participants ayant payé leurs frais d'inscription.
Nous avons l'intention de mener environ la moitié des sessions en français (canadien !) et l'autre moitié en anglais de sorte que les intervenants pourront choisir la langue dans laquelle ils sont le plus à l'aise.

The registration fee covers participation at all sessions on both days of the conference (13 and 14 October), a delegate pack with the programme and other useful information, two lunches and four coffee breaks and the networking dinner on 13 October. You will also be able to access the internet while attending the conference via a limited number of WiFi connections.
One-day passes are available One-day passes do not include the networking dinner. If you wish to participate, please buy this as a separate item at CAD 50 / USD 48 / EUR 35. One-day passes will cover attendance at all sessions on the chosen conference day, the delegate pack, a lunch and two coffee breaks as well as unlimited WiFi internet access.
Additional one-year membership for CAD 110 / USD 100 / EUR 90 will be available for new members. Existing members cannot take this opportunity. Also, it is not possible to purchase membership only. This additional membership is available only in conjuction with payment for the conference (one or both days). Membership will be effective from the date of payment.
Guests on the networking dinner are welcome, for an additional EUR 50 / USD 48 / EUR 35 per person.
In case of any payment issues, please submit a support request to Proz.com staff, explaining your problem( e. g. you paid by wire transfer to Proz.com but your name still does not appear, or you need a pro forma invoice to effect payment, you cannot participate and you need a reimbursement, etc.)
Cancellation policy: "Attendees who cancel their participation no later than 7 days before the planned conference date will receive a refund of their registration fees minus a 10% administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations beyond that point. Refunds will be processed 30 days after receiving written notification of cancellation. Cancellations must be requested by email to both ProZ.com conference planner and the local Organizer. Alternatively, members can transfer their payment to another scheduled conference free of charge paying just the price difference."

Registration for the separate training sessions is now open. You will have to purchase these items separately. There is no need to be registered for the conference to attend these sessions.

Announcing the first ProZ.com regional conference in Montreal!
In October, a ProZ.com regional conference will be held in Montreal. This bilingual event is aimed primarily at both experienced translators and interpreters and novices living in Canada or using Canadian French as one of their working languages. There will be two days of presentations, workshops, focus groups, networking and socializing in this buzzing city.
Meet the organisers
This event is organized by Rebekka Gross who is responsible for Conference Planning and Development at ProZ.com in association with Lexi-tech International, Canada’s largest private translation company and with the help of Nancy Lynn Bogar who is based near Montreal.
Conference Program
The conference program will focus on medical translation, financial translation and government translation as the main themes and there will be several sessions on each of these subjects. These sessions will be complemented by other sessions of more general interest, such as technical workshops (e. g. CAT tools), focus groups, business matters, etc. If you are interested in giving a presentation, moderating a focus group or running a hands-on workshop, please send an e-mail with a brief session outline in either French or English to the organizers and we'll get back to you to discuss further details. Keynote speakers may be paid for their presentations. Most other sessions are offered on a voluntary basis by paying conference attendees.
It is our intention to have approximately 50% of the sessions in Canadian French and 50% in English and speakers can choose the language they are most comfortable in.
