Welcome to the web site of the 2011 regional conference to be held in Skopje on October 1, 2011 with a pre-conference powwow marking the International Translation Day on September 30, 2011 and a post-conference powwow on Sunday, October 2, 2011
Conference location
Skopje - the capital of the country referred to as the Cradle of culture and land of nature. A city whose history can be traced back some twenty-five centuries.
Although easily accessible in the heart of South-eastern Europe, Macedonia’s ancient sites and natural beauty remain largely undiscovered. Come and feel the warmth of the people, enjoy fine accommodation and delicious food, hear new rhythms and dive into centuries of unbroken tradition.
Conference venue
The conference will take place at the modern and luxurious five-star ARKA Hotel, situated in the heart of city’s multicultural and multiethnic life – the Old Skopje Bazaar.
The Conference fee includes full attendance to all sessions on Saturday, October 1, 2011 plus coffee breaks, lunch and a cocktail - gala dinner in the evening.
Student discount pricing does not include the Gala dinner (separate tickets for this social event may be purchased).
A gala dinner ticket may be purchased for your partner.
