I have Master of Arts Degree in Urdu language and literature from Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan.
Credentials:
I am author of two books in Urdu; the first book is of Urdu poetry (Haway e Sar e Reh Guzaar) and second is the collection of my articles written about the cultural life of Pakistan (Culture Kahaani). These articles were previously published in "Sada e Pakistan" A local Urdu newspaper published from New York, USA.

Background & Experience
Translation Experience
I have been doing translation from English to Urdu Since 1983. While doing job As sub-editor with Daily ?Tameer? published from Rawalpindi, Pakistan my primary duty was to translate the news From English to Urdu and to read the proof of the news after composition.
I Started Punjabi translation in 1992.
I Translated a lot of short stories (English, French, and Russian) from English to Urdu and Punjabi, which published in different literary magazines and journals in Pakistan.
Translated for more than 9 years (from English to Urdu) for different NGOs in Islamabad (Pakistan), main topics of translations were: human development, socio economic problems, culture, child sex abuse, child labor, causes and remedies of religious intolerance in Pakistan, small loans, small industry, political problems of Pakistan. During this period I worked as translator with leading NGOs "SUNGI""SAHIL" "AURAT Foundation".
Now a days doing Urdu, Punjabi translation from and to English in USA. Worked for a bunch of companies.
Journalistic Experience:
Started Journalistic career as ?In Charge Literary Page? of Daily Urdu journal "Haider" published from Rawalpindi, Pakistan back in 1983.
Joined daily Urdu journal "Tameer" as translator sub-editor and proof reader, published from Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 1984.
Joined Urdu weekly "Shanakht" published from Islamabad as special correspondence of cultural and social issues 1986
Worked some time for the first Punjabi daily journal of Pakistan, Sajjan, as sub-editor and translator (English to Punjabi) published from Lahore Pakistan. In 1988.
Now a days writing socio-political column in Urdu Journal "Sadaey Pakistan" published simultaneously form Islamabad (Pakistan) and New York & Washington (USA).
Art/ Literary Experience
I am a writer of Urdu and Punjabi. I am also a poet of Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi languages. My writings are published in leading literary journals and magazines of Urdu and Punjabi.
Having a deep eye on the socio political and cultural structure of South Asia, specifically on Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan.
NGOs Related Social Work Experience
Worked with leading NGOs of Islamabd, Pakistan as volunteer /Social worker, translator, interpreter.
My experience included but not limited to communicate, support for child labor, child sex abuse, other related child crimes, health awareness in slum areas, human rights and press freedom.
