tectranslate is a translation agency in southern Germany. Founded by two former employees of a renowned translation company in 2003, we have since managed to establish a name as a reliable partner for translators and end clients alike. Note to fellow ProZ: The "tectranslate" you see roaming the KudoZ and forum sections is Benjamin while translation jobs are posted by various employees of our company.
Our prices are calculated based on the number of words in the source language. This applies to all documents except hardcopies and possible minimum charge jobs. Translators are expected to give TM pricing schemes with discounts for matches (our clients are expecting the same thing.)
Trados preferred.
Most of our in-house staff are NOT translators but all of us are quite experienced in the field of translation and technically skilled, e.g. when it comes to preparing tagged files for import into TM tools or coming up with a creative way of handling difficult file formats more easily.
