I was born in South Korea and Korean is my mother language.
My major in university was metallurgical engineering and the curriculum included many engineering subjects such as strenths of materials, structural metallurgy, principle of heat treatment & its application, CAD, metallurgical thermodynamics etc.
I immigrated to New Zealand in 2001 and had stayed there for 6 years.
My translation experiences are mostly about manuals, guidebooks, business plan, etc.
I had read various books written in English and have no difficulty in communication with English. I experienced several cultures, which taught me that every culture has its own characteristic.
I believe that English translation bring me new world, new field, new culture, new technology and new experience.
That's why I want to work on this field. |
