Hello, I am a canadian-uruguayan living in Uruguay.
I was born in Canada and learned spanish and english. I moved to Uruguay when I was a child so I did most of my schooling here. I returned to Canada as a teenager and took some english courses and later went to university. I took courses in literature, psychology and photography.
I worked in the tourism industry as a bilingual tour guide and later as a hotel concierge.
Returning in Uruguay I have worked in the graphic arts, printing and bookbinding fields. I have translated technical operations manuals from english to spanish. I have also managed the company's overseas contacts writing and speaking directly in english. I have also translated many letters and other documents from spanish to english.
I am presently teaching english to adults, mainly businesspeople or people who are ready to travel and want to improve their language skills. |
