My first conference and it was (in spite of the insects in the hotel) unmissable.

I enjoyed meeting so many fellow translators and exchanging experiences and information. Cyberspace is wonderful, but it doesn't replace actually meeting people.

Special thanks to: Usha for your advice re insect bites - it worked - and to Andrew for being so patient and helpful with my computer queries.

Thanks to John also for the post-conference training session in Nice and two days of summer weather. We are now back in the Pyrenees (autumn) and flying to London tomorrow to experience November as winter.

Looking forward to using some of what I have learned,

Bonjour,

Il y a déjà quelques photos sur le site du congrès. Allez sur "images" "The Conference itself". Il y a en a pas beaucoup parce que je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de changer la taille de mes photos, mais si non vous pouvez m'envoyer un e-mail et je vous enverrai directement des photos.

Hi everyone,

Great conference - thank you to John and Kathryn and everyone else who worked so hard to make it a success. Wonderful to meet everyone in such a beautiful place. The wine-tasting was especially appreciated.

My question is will the conference notes be posted soon or am I looking in the wrong place? There were lots of really interesting sessions I couldn't attend, especially when I got side-tracked by Aix's colourful markets on Saturday after booking my train ticket at the station, instead of hurrying back to the conference.

Hope to meet everyone again at future events.

Merci à John et Kathryn, des organisateurs résolument détendus, malgré le travail que l'organisation a dû demandé.
Comme tous, j'ai apprécié le contenu et les rencontres de la conférence et espère bien que cet événement se renouvellera d'ici peu.
Merci aussi aux collègues conférenciers pour nous avoir fait part de leur expérience. J'espère pouvoir un jour en faire autant...
Comme Margaret, je n'ai pas assisté à toutes les conférences qui m'intéressaient, d'une part car je n'étais là que le vendredi, et d'autre part car le choix entre les conférences en parallèle s'est souvent avéré difficile...
Je voulais donc également savoir si des scripts sont disponibles ou s'il faut s'adresser aux différents conférenciers.
