زملائي الأعزاء،

هاهو معرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب قد بدأ، وإنني أود شراء بعض القواميس والمعاجم التي تنقصني في مجالات معينة وأرغب منكم تقديم المشورة لي في هذا الشأن. إنني أبحث عن قواميس متخصصة (عربي/إنجليزي أو العكس) في المجالات التالية:

- مصطلحات السياحة والفندقة
- المصطلحات البحرية

فأرجو تقديم أية معلومات لديكم بخصوص أي مجال مما هو أعلاه، على أن تشتمل، إذا توافر ذلك، على اسم القاموس/المعجم واسم المؤلف ودار النشر، وتعليقكم على مدى شمولية وفائدة القاموس/المعجم، وإن كان هناك أكثر من قاموس في أي من المجالات أعلاه، فأرجو أن تدلوني على ما ترونه أفضل. وإن كان لديكم علم بأية مواقع إلكترونية تشتمل على مسارد أو معاجم في تلك المجالات، أرجو تزويدي بها.

Try this new bilingual reference of military terms (also includes some naval terms) first.

There are some paperback E A military dictionaries and glossaries (most seem compiled and written by retired army officers) available at the larger commercial bookstores in Cairo. Try this new bilingual reference of military terms (also includes some naval terms) first.

There are some paperback E A military dictionaries and glossaries (most seem compiled and written by retired army officers) available at the larger commercial bookstores in Cairo. Based on those commercial references in my collection, the varying quality and accuracy of the translations often reflect the authors' familiarity with complex original terms that were rendered in "American Military English" syle of expression (I also have some difficulty with such a style of language).

You might also contact the Arab League head office and ask about the latest edition of its "Military Unifying Dictionary."
