Dear Colleagues,

For those of you who have obtained the AUC (American University in Cairo) Certificate for Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation Studies, please make sure you mention its name as:

\"Professional Certificate of Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation Studies\".

For the past 9 years I have lived with the understanding that it is equivalent to MA or Diploma in Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation, but I learned recently that this is not true from Mr. David Wilmsen, Director, Arabic and Translation Studies, Center for Adult and Continuing Education

The American University in Cairo.

For those of you who had the same belief also, please correct this bit of information on your Proz.Com profile immediately.

Also regarding the Egyptian Translation Association, it is better to mention Al-Alsun Graduates Association, to avoid further misunderstandings.

Happy New Year to all of you.
