Barev,

i'm looking for an english-armenian, german-armenian or turkish-armenian online dictionary for occasional private use, which displays the results in western european characters.

Can anyone tell me an adequate link for?

I don't know the others but as far as the Turkish/Armenian dictionaries are concerned, you can barely find some elemantary printed dictionaries, so one must wait a long time before we see anything online...
The printed ones are very very elementary. The best way is to use Turkish/Russian and Russian Armenian dictionaries together.

Neither russian nor armenian

Thank you very much Dikran but unfortunatly i understand neither the one, nor the other.

Due to the strained relationship between turkey and armenia, finding a turkish-armenian dictionary would be a little bit difficult i guess. Because of this i hope to find an english-armenian or a german-armenian dictionary.

It isn't very important, because it isn't business related. But to find some friendly words in armenian for my armenian neighbours would be a nice surprise for them i thought.

A great online Armenian<->English dictionary

You can use http://en.wiktionary.org for translating words from Armenian into English and vice versa. We romanise all Armenian words, so you should have no problem with reading. See the word for dog, for example.
