In Spain SS normally stands for Seguridad Social which means Social Security... so I guess they want some kind of number...

Hi,
In Spain, it seems that the ID/Social Security number must be quoted on invoices. I used my passport number, as we don\'t have ID in the UK. They accepted that, and I was paid o.k.
