In Belgium 60 or 90 days end of month for paying is still very popular.
Now there is a law in Belgium against late payments (Loi concernant la lutte contre le retard de paiement dans les transactions commerciales 2 AOUT 2002)

Do you think, the law will convert delinquent payers? In all member states there are laws against late or missing payment - did it help? Better select and screen your customers.

If it hasn't been published in Le Moniteur belge, it's worth 0000000. And by law, people are supposed to have driver's licenses and car insurance too, but many people here regard them as optional extras. My experience in Belgium is that being law-abiding is not really that popular.
