I want to get certified in Spanish, which certification is the best? Any advice is well appreciated, thanks.

In the US, ATA might be a good choice Dec 23, 2005

Since you report being in the US, The American Translators Association (ATA) might be a good choice. It offers certification in several (language) directions, including English>Spanish. The ATA exam is not easy; in fact, my understanding is that most of the people who take it fail, but this probably increases the prestige being ATA-certified.

You can find all the information you'll probably need on the organization's website: www.atanet.org

Good luck!
