Tonight, I got an urgent call from someone in Switzerland. He said he needed some marketing letters revised asap. I told him no problem as long as he can make advance payment via PayPal. When I had a look at the text, it looked like they were selling addresses for online-marketing. Since I hate Spam like everyone else, I googled them and the result was not positive. Lots of forum threads of people who wanted to buy one thing or another and lost a lot of money.

So I wrote back that I don't want to take the job and also explained why (in all honesty).

Anyone who is interested to know the company's name (or rather, names) and the manager's name is free to contact me.
