You've probably heard this on the UK news but I expect it'll spread further. There's a new internet scam doing the round that holds your computer files hostage. For full details read the Times article below (please copy and paste the entire link from http: to .html or it won't work).

Scary stuff - but apparently (at least according to this) the whole problem started after she opened an attachment (which may well have then put the pop-up on her computer). Another warning not to open attachments!
