Hi friends, many of you might be working with CAT tools. Fine. They prove so helpful at times especially in large projects where large numbe of sentences are repeated. Problem arises when the client asks us to give TMs along with the translated file. Now in my opinion, your TMs are your intellectual property just like a patented technology. What happens that at a later stage, the client gives a similar job to another translator at a much lower price because they are giving him TMs also which were generated by you. Dont you think you are being taken for a ride?
