The online solution needs a card reader, digital signature, software (40 MB!) etc.
Too much for 1 or 2 incidents a year.
What happens if the delinquent customer appeals - and that happens in more than 75% of all cases? Then you go again thru the treadmill of collectors or lawyers.
You are better of with a professional collector like D&B.
