Does anyone know of a site where I could find model contracts, or agreements to send a client for whom I am about to begin a fairly children's lit. translation? It will be a straightforward payment, rather than later revenues, due to a number of issues.

Check this one out May 20, 2007

I find it very complete, although it has clauses about royalties, copyright, things like that, which as I understand it are things you don´t want. But for a reason it is called a "model" contract- you can use the parts you want, change the parts you need to.
It is from Pen.org
Hope it helps!
