Am just starting. Based on experience I know its important to be covered against liability for direct and indirect damages. Is there a standard contract / agreement text around that is helfpul in the translation domain? much appreciated, Bert van der Moer

One clause you could put into a contract is along the lines that liability is limited to the amount of the translation fees. But only an attorney could tell you whether such a clause is legal and whether it protects you.

Paul, thanks. Yours is the safest approach. I'd hoped there would be a kind skeleton contract floating around geared towards this domain. My chamber of commerce seems to have something, but that requires some adaptaion. have fun Bert
