Add outsourcer Jan 23, 2008

Hi Levan,

You may always add a new outsourcer and make a 'Call for entries'.
Go to http://www.proz.com/blueboard/?sp_mode=add and follow the instructions.

Yes you can Jan 23, 2008

You can post a call for entries for any company in the Blue Board (unless someone else has done so in the past 30 days). If the company does not have a BB item you'll have to make it first. The contact data published on their website is usually sufficient for that.
Best regards
Attila

Thank you!
I did so and added that company. However, perhaps, it may need some time to accept my entry, since I could not find that company immediately after adding. Am I right?

I didn't think you could do that Jan 23, 2008

I believe you have to have done some work for a company (though not necessarily to have been paid for it) before you can make an entry about it, so if you want to know about a company before you undertake any work for them, I don't think this is possible. Am I wrong about this?

Call for Entries doesn't equal Make an Entry Jan 23, 2008

Hi Jack,

You may always make a Call for entries.
Making an entry for a company is indeed only allowed if you worked for that particular outsourcer.

I thought that too, Jack. Could a member of Proz staff please clarify this point?

Jenny

Creating new BB *records* vs. making *entries* Jan 23, 2008

Evert is right. To clarify once again: You may always submit a call for entries for an outsourcer already entered in the Blue Board, or even add a whole new BB record for the outsourcer in question if it is not yet in the database.

Despite creating the relevant new entry to the BB, the latter is still missing that entry and I can not make any call for entries.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!
