Dear all,
I have just discovered CafeTran (version 2012020302), when looking for a CAT tool compatible with InDesign CS5/CS5.5 files.
I've downloaded the demo version, and it seems to work like a charm. Now, I have a critical question... Is it possible to share the TM with other users at the same time? This is a large translation project and there will be at least two people working on it at the same time, so this feature is essential.
I'd appreciate your comments.

CafeTran as a TM server

Hello Eileen,
CafeTran can work in the TM Server mode to enable other translators to connect to your memories over the Internet. Read the Rendezvous Memory Server chapter in the online Help (http://www.cafetran.com/handbook.html) and follow the instructions there.

Glad you like it. It is indeed an amazing little piece of software, with great potential.
Now, I have a critical question... Is it possible to share the TM with other users at the same time? This is a large translation project and there will be at least two people working on it at the same time, so this feature is essential.
Perhaps you can split up your TM in several pieces and put them in a Dropbox folder (www.dropbox.com, there are other alternatives ...). Your collaborator(s) should use the same Dropbox.
I'm not sure whether Igor should change something in the Java code or that it already works in the current version.
