Could someone help me an SDLX file of
an english-dutch translation into RC format to convert?

SDLX сам преобразует файл из формата ITD в исходный формат после окончания перевода через меню файл/создать перевод (пишу по русски т.к. не знаю, какой интерфейс программы у Вас английский или немецкий). У Вас не должно быть проблем, если исходный файл был формата... See more

SDLX сам преобразует файл из формата ITD в исходный формат после окончания перевода через меню файл/создать перевод (пишу по русски т.к. не знаю, какой интерфейс программы у Вас английский или немецкий). У Вас не должно быть проблем, если исходный файл был формата RC. Если он был другого формата, то сделать Вы ничего не можете - создание перевода осуществляется автоматически и только в исходном формате. Если у Вас есть готовая память этого перевода и двуязычный файл ITD можно сделать следующее:
1. Откройте оригинальный RC файл в SDLX.
2. Подключите память.
3. Выберите в меню "Память перевода"/"Применить"
4. Отредактируйте перевод.
5. Выберите "Меню"/"Файл"/"Создать перевод" и вы получите файл перевода в формате RC.

Если готовой памяти нет, то ее можно создать, находясь в файле ITD. Затем отредактировать и подтвердить все сегменты. Затем выберите "Меню"/"Память пеервода"/"Обновить". Дальше как описано выше, начиная с №1.
По немецки, к сожалению, не могу Вам все это изложить, но Вы ведь переводите и на русский, так что надеюсь поймете.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Ratschläge. Ich habe nur diese Datei (siehe Anhang), die als itd vorhanden ist und ins rc konvertiert werden soll.

Jetzt hat mir jemand die Datei im rc gespeichert, ich weiss aber nicht, ob Sie sich mit dem Programm LocalizeRc öffnen lässt. Könnten Sie dies für mich prüfen?

Die Dateien habe ich an die E-Mail Adresse [email protected] geschickt.

Too bad that the rest of us can't get this valuable information Sep 15, 2006

...because we don't all speak Russian or German.

I would have liked to read this myself as I could have a use for such instructions, but sadly, I only speak English, French, Hungarian and Spanish.

What a shame...

I did not realise anybody else was interested and replied in Russian because the poster of the thread is a translator to Russian and from the sentence structure of her question I realised that her native language is German which I do not speak. It is all very simple: SDLX converts the translation back into the original format of the source text only. So, to get translation in RC you need to use Menu/ File/Create Translation. This is only possible if the source file was in RC format. If not ,nothing can be done.
If you have any eaxtra questions, I will be happy to answer them - I have been using SDLX for 4 years and know a thing or two about it.
