.txt and .ppt files with Trados

Yes, you can open the txt document in Word, translate it as usual, then save as txt.



The only problem you could come accross would be if your \"txt\" document, is actually an HTML document, in which case it\'s a little more complex because Word would recognize it as html, and use it\'s own f...ked up code to take care of the conversion.



If your document is a normal txt without mark up, no problem.



For ppt, I can\'t help you personnally - I don\'t use that thing, but even for the other guys, you may want to describe a little more your problem. ▲ Collapse

Yes in principle - what kind of text files are you referring to?
