Hola, he traduït un text de castellà a català però l'original estava en un format no editable, es a dir, no puc contar les paraules. Sabeu si existeix algun índex de conversió? Es a dir si tinc per exemple 1000 paraules en català, a quantes correspon en castellà?

Hola Alages,
Desconec si existeix algun paràmetre per convertir el recompte de paraules en castellà al català. Normalment, el que faig amb les agències en casos en què el text en castellà no sigui editable o vice versa és facturar per paraules del text meta (ES o CA). Crec que la diferència entre els dos idiomes és molt baixa, per tant, un cop compensa amb l'altre.
Si es tracta d'un PDF, potser pots provar, si no és escanejat, de desar el document com a .txt i fer el recompte amb Trados o passar-ho a Word i fer el recompte. No se m'acut cap altre opció.

Gràcies per la teva resposta. He comparat un word que ja tenia traduït i en català són 563 paraules front a 570 en castellà. Realment no hi ha molta diferència quan el text es curt així que faré el que dius, encara que sí m'agradaria trobar algun tipus de factor de conversió o saber si algú aplica un recàrrec quan el format no és editable... a veure si algú més ens conta la seva experiència.
