how to provide translation in the right column with Trados

小弟有一问题请教各位.

Client provided me with a file in Word format. It is a table with 2 columns. On the left is the column for the source language. Client wanted me to fill in the translation in the column on the right. But usually when we translate with Trados, translation comes after the target sentence.

What can I do?

copy+paste May 10, 2008

把clean后的译文复制+粘贴到右边

1. 原文保存2份；
2. 在其中一份上用Trados翻译；
3. 将clean后的译文全选复制并粘贴到另一份副本的右边

client mainly wants to know my skills to use Trados. Can we just do it with Trados, without creating a copy?

把source text全部复制到target column May 10, 2008

你可以把source column的text复制粘贴到target column上，然后用Trados在Target column里面翻。
翻完后，如果想要一份clean copy，你就clean up，这样target column里面就只有中文了。
