thank you for your suggestion.

If you check out another forum thread about this issue, you will find that we have already invited peers to propose solutions.

one or two members suggest that peers in Mainland China can use proxy servers, particularly the illegal one called "boundless browser". (for the safety of the forum, please don't list any link to this tool here, which is an illegal stuff in China.) Yes, it works. however, some users expressed their concerns on using this kind of technology, because their owners may intercept/filter your communication for their own benefits.

in addition, the list of proxy servers changes from time to time, because once detected, these servers will be blocked. then it may take a lot of time to find a new one.

anyway, any advice is still welcome. for technical solution, if you or any other peer could put it in English, that will be great. so no information will be missed when Proz staff study them.

孙先生：你说的非常有道理，利用KudoZ 宣传政治主张的人确实也有。网站在管理上算是比较完善了，可惜居然还是出现了漏网之鱼。也不知这方面的问题该谁管？怎么管的？
说白了，网站自身的问题，找奥巴马胡哥“世界翻译协会”去理论都没用。

大家先用代理吧，找十几个代理软件轮流用，打一枪换一个地方。不是没有办法，而是人家愿不愿意去做，这里面的玄机不说也罢。等十年后下一轮经济危机到来时我还有兴趣重拾此话题，让所有人都来见证“Kudoz式”的办事效率。

网站经营者对这种麻烦恐怕事先没有概念，但麻烦一出就已经晚了。现在难办的恐怕是不知冒犯了“长城”上具体哪一块“砖”，也不知该拜“长城”沿线的哪座“庙”。恐怕连“长城管理总局”也不知那座庙由哪个“长城管理分局”管。再耐心等等，看网站管理人员找 Wikipedia 取经的结果如何吧。

Proz staff has contacted China Translators' Association for help immediately after the blockage occurred. Unfortunately, I haven't any feedback yet.

I also advised Proz staff to contact wikipedia, who had the same problem before.

Lbone also helped a lot on this issue and actively contacted a few Chinese government authorities or telecommunication companies.

It appears that there does not exist a channel for us to initiate the lifting of such blockage from our side.



Did anyone contact FIT directly? Any response?
How about a picket, at the Bo'ao Forum? or an interpreters' strike (just kidding)

KudoZ问问题还方便，问完了只能从邮箱里看答案，打分更是借用了P*roxy，费了很长时间才完成。
