How to add Chinese characters in a PDF file ?

客户提供的是一份设计图纸.PDF，需要将中文加入该PDF中。我已重新扫描并用 Illustrator 8 和 CorelDraw 9 试过，未成。说实话，我确实也不太会使用这两个软件。

希望各位能提供有关经验和建议。

我觉得可以采用 Adobe Acrobat 5.0 上的 Note Tool，在图纸的文字旁边用加注的方式打上中文翻译，这样客户收到文件后，只要在那个加注的地方双击就能看到中文。当然，这要看客户的要求。

如果你只有用PC, 办法就少多了。如果是在Mac上做，办法就多一些。

首先，PDF文件在英文环境的PC上是不能加注中文的。但我没有尝试过使用中文版的Acrobat Reader会是什么结果。

如果你的PC是英文环境，但是可以打中文字，最简单的方法是，从PhotoShop打开你的PDF文件，通过光栅化，单页的PDF文件就呈现在屏幕上。注意，为了保证文件打印的清晰度，在光栅化前要在跳出的对话框中把文件清晰度调至600点。这时你可以通过TYPE功能在该文件上加注中文。每次加注后，便成为一层(Layer)。最后工作完毕后，可以把给客户的那个文件作“合并图层”(Flatten)处理，使文件的尺寸变小。这种办法适合于比较少量的文字加注工作。完成后，可根据客户的需要把文件保存起来，其中的一个文件格式选项是PDF。使用这种方法加注的缺点是文件会变得很大。

如果加注的文字较多，我建议把在PhotoShop打开的文件存为tiff格式，然后从MS Word的新文件中把该tiff格式的文件插入(Insert -- Picture -- From File)。当文件出现在Word文件中时，可以用文字框(Text Box)的办法，把中文打入文字框。

经过一天对不同软件的反复试验,最后终於在一位同事的指点下用Photoshop完成任务。整个过程比Kevin介绍的略简单些，但得一点点的COPY/PASTE，时间较长。我只有PC法文环境，所以更复杂些。

你们介绍的办法我也打算都试试。实践出真知。

你们的工作都很忙，还专门抽出时间给予帮助，再次感谢两位！
