请问Marina Gorbis所著的The Nature of the Future: Dispatches from the Socialstructed World一书，如果译成中文，《未来的性质：来自社会构造世界的信息》，可以吗？
感觉Dispatches的具体措辞不好定夺。

Translation can be a process with a litttle bit creativity, especially when it comes to the translation for titles of literary works. Yes,I know what you are doubting, but to catch the attention of readers, we have to make some adjustment, as long as it's still on the path.

这种标题 在英文里是常见的， 比如说 "Tales from the Crypt".
图省事的话，当然可以说实质上是怎样怎样, 因此越简单明了越好。 既然谈未来，那么就是"预见"。 这种翻译和 将 "Zero Dark Thirty" 翻成 "猎杀本·拉登" 是类似的，我本人觉得直接倒是直接， 但一点文彩都没有。
具体到这个标题，原文中 dispatch 的意思 就是设身处地将自己置于未来，向现今的大众作报道。中文可用来表达 Dispatches 的词汇并不少。我认为 Phil 建议的 报道、报告 都很好， 另外可以考虑的还有 通讯、汇报(noun)、快报、消息、专讯、新闻快讯 等等。

我最后处理成了：《未来的真相：发自社会构造世界的报道》。
PS：我喜欢在翻译时尽量紧扣原词的意思，而不是随意演绎，哪怕有时后者看起来似乎比前者更具可读性。
估计此话一说，又会有人跳出来表示反对了。呵呵
说到底，每人的译风不一样。

看了一下J.H. 提供的参考,觉得此书毕竟代表作者对未来的推想预言; 所以觉得把书名The Nature of the Future 译为'未来的真相" 不够贴切。Nature 在这里含有feature, description, or characteristic 的意思。
另外，socialstructing 与social structure 概念不同. Socialstructing 是社群利用现代技术联络互动的过程（“We are moving away from the dominance of the depersonalized world of institutional production and creating a new economy around social connections and social rewards—a process I call socialstructing …“-Marina Gorbis ). 如果把'The Socialstructed World‘译为 “社会构造世界”好像没有体现这种过程性。

IMO, the scope and implication of social connections Gorbis aforementioned are far beyond"人际交往"; as she states:
“The future lies in micro contributions by large networks of people creating value on a scale previously unthinkable, bringing sociability and social connectivity back into our economic transactions.”
Actually, we might be able to perceive this emerging "socialstructed economy" through the Proz community, and provide even more dispatches.
