nq.yeah.net“念青繁體五筆”。

Kevin

http://www.proz.com/topic/31929

www.word4u.com\setupgb55.EXE

Shaun, Donglai, Wenjer and all,

Thank you for the information and help! I appreciate it very much. You people are great!

I just downloaded the Wubi keyboard from the link Donglai provided. Please note that there is a typo in the link, that is the slash should be a regular slash, not a back slash. In case someone wants to download it, the corrected link should be:
www.word4u.com/setupgb55.EXE

I did download it sucessfully, but I have not installed it yet.The reason is that I always hasitate to install any new software programs.

I did a research in my Windows XP, and found that it provides two Wubi keyboards: Wubi 86 and Wubi 98. I immediately activated the Wubi 98 under Simplified Chinese in my PC. I wonder if any of you have experiences with these two Wubi keyboards. I noticed that no one has mentioned these two MS versions yet. What's the pros and cons about these two?

Kevin

About Wubi Keyboards Jul 7, 2005

Hi Kelvin:
That is very discreet of you. Indeed, one can never be too careful about installing new programs. To have peace of mind, however, I would suggest that you get one of those real good uninstalling programs. These programs track every changes an installation makes to your system, remove them completely and restore your PC to its pre-installation state if ever the need arises. FWIW.

I use jidian wubi, wubi jiajia, nianqing and some other wubi free programs. Most don't mention the different keyboards. And, when they do, I just take the default or close my eyes and choose either one. It seems that the difference may not be that great. However, I have not really done a comparison of them, so please take my words with a pinch of salt.

Have fun and fast typing
