http://www.accurapid.com/journal/23prof.htm

Cheers!

When not using a self-portrait, the gender ambiguity is bound to happen Apr 7, 2007

Xiedong,

Be sure to change the usage of "Big Sister" in your above post when referring to Wenjer. He is a man. It is not completely your fault. When our member insists in not using his/her own self-portrait photo as the profile ID, the gender ambiguity is bound to happen.

Kevin

Venia or Denia Apr 7, 2007

No problem, Kevin. I don't mind the gender. Carl Jung is of the opinion that a man can be a real man only when he discovers the female (the "alma") in his soul. Ha, ha, ha....

When I was studying in Germany, there were quite a lot of phone calls to the dormitory asking for Venia (Wenjer). When I answered the calls and identified myself, the callers were astonished for they expected a female like my next door roomate Denia. There were quite a few people wondered the names Denia and Venia, but Denia and I made a lot of fun with our names. She used to let me answer phone calls to block unwished boyfriends-to-be.
