I have no idea. But they sure make the Von Trapp's look like wimps.
BTW, I've been to the Trapp Family Lodge before in Stowe, Vermont ... Beautiful country!

是不是与病人的体温下降有关? 好像都是衰老去世的，没有高烧。去世前几小时，是否体温逐渐下降? 红外辐射(热，属于电磁辐射)减少了，猫会有察觉。

这个不是听闻来的，是我今天的亲身经历:
去Fedex寄一些文件到北京，Fedex的人问我：“We have two services, depending on how fast you want it delivered. The fasted is the cheapest..."
Hmmm...我想他一定是没小心说错了。他接着说：
"If you want it there by Monday the 13th, it'll be 50. If you want it there by Thursday the 16th, it'll be 70...."
Now I could not help asking: "Why is that?"

说话有洋味的人，美国英语才会是纯正的？这倒有趣。难怪有些人写文章会在人人看懂的地方打括符放上洋文。
老实说，我这辈子使用过的所有语言里，包括所谓的母语，每一种都夹杂外来的语词，没有一种是纯正的，都是不知何时从别人那里学习而来的。
大学时代的德文老师学汉语，他说的汉语都听得懂，就是有点违反中国人的语言思考习惯。他问我问题，我回答后补充了一句：我们在台湾不这么说的。他回答：你不是听懂了我的问题了吗？再加一句：我是来台湾学习中文的，不是来变成中国人的。当时我觉得有点被冒犯，但事后想来确实如此。到达德国时，拜访那位老师时，他说：你的性情敏感，你在德国会看到许多和台湾不同的东西，你可以学习到许多东西，可以纪录下来，但是不要批评，顶多说“嗯，真有趣”。
几十年了，我接触的语言文化越多便觉得这个世界真的有趣，什么情况都可能遇上。比方说，在某个小岛屿上，我问当地经过几层关系介绍认识的某人“用你们的语言‘你几岁’怎么说？”得到的答案是：三十四。解释了老半天，我的问题得到的答案还是三十四。
遇到思想只有一个层面的人，你得明白，他永远不会理解思想能够有多个层面，他不会理解 meta 之上还有 meta，所以他相信有所谓的“纯正”，他的世界跟你的世界有非常大的差距，你怎么解释都有点像利用欧氏几何向学生解释非欧几何，得到的结果还是“不纯正”！
