Indeed as pointed out above, this is a typical question that belongs in the KudoZ section.

However, it did pique my interest, since my parents did hope one day I would become a violinist or at least learn to play the instrument. But it was not to be; there was absolutely no desire on my part. The tuition they paid all the way from my childhood through my young adult years was all for nought. ...
