Hi,
Would anybody be able to help me to advise a good friend based in China who wants to establish herself with a UK client I have found her (so she's not stealing anyone's business!!!) on what the typical rates are here for Chinese to UK English translation, please?
It's IT stuff - help, doc and software.
Should she mainly charge per source character or per target word or ?
Any advice and suggested rates very very welcome. She's a good friend and wants to join the UK mar... See more

Any advice and suggested rates very very welcome. She's a good friend and wants to join the UK market at the correct level. She's well qualified and is keen not to go in too low as she and I both know this just upsets the marketplace.
