软件真贵啊。 Thread poster: Shouguang Cao

本来想购买数字数软件的practicount的，网上一查，叫50刀，要400来块钱呢。这么个功能单一的小软件，还能卖这么贵。
再想想自己已经占了很大的便宜了，机器里这么多盗版软件，要是都买正版的，得什么时候才能回本啊。

一般來說客戶都會告訴你字數的啊﹐如果讓你報字數﹐ 無法轉成WORD統計的﹐估計一下就行了﹐ 差不了多少吧。

几天前客户按用AnyCount软件计算的字数发的PO不能让我相信，因为这字数跟我用WORD计算的字数才相差500来字，但图表里面的字数一看就知道远超过1000字，这是WORD不能统计的。我还专门下载了试用版的AnyCount来做试验，但客户说他们的是正版的，有些功能是试用版没有的，所以还是坚持认为他们是正确的。这件事僵持了几天，最后客户都下了“最后通牒”：

languages have been translated to the same conditions! -, as we need to
start now.
I need Your reply today, ideally before midday MET, as I am forced to
contact another colleague, in case you do not want to cooperate.
But I do hope that we will find a way.

我有几个直接客户，他们自己不算字数的，一般就是我说多少就是多少，invoice 打过去了，很快就能拿到钱。

** had the idea to convert the Pdf in a txt file, in order to
investigate more deeply this issue.
We found out that the whole Manual (incl. all texts and tables, excl.
indexes and customers comments) contains 17.597 Words (and not 14.678
W, as calculated previously)
It is quite annoying, as we did not invoice the customer for more words
- and for the other languages we also calculated less words.
On the other hand, we are now aware of this matter (that we shall always
calculate the words using the txt file)

我相信那软件能简单计算出WORD图形或是text boxes中的字数，但不相信真能算入在图形里的text boxes中的字。而里面的字数有几千呢。
