Hello!

I would be interested to know what experience users of the translation tool have with the the TM database.

Please note I have no interest in criticising, let alone rubbishing DV. It is one of the few weak spots I have found out about it.

The freelance edition uses a Jet database engine. Whereas the TM server now offers an SQL-based memory, this dated technology - which yet may function perfectly well - means that 64-bit native applications cannot be used unless a 32 bit application is used as an intermediary. Additionally, I would expect to have more freedom creating queries and better compatibility with SQL.

Many thanks.
