Hi everyone,
How can I transfer my DVX settings to a new computer?
I have installed DVX on my new notebook, I even copied what I though would be the Settings file to the appropriate folder in the new notebook, but it doesn't seem to work.
What I miss most is my large collection of typing shortcuts, although the client/topic list would also be neat to have on my new machine.
Thanks for any advice.
Csaba
I used to have XP on my old notebook, now I use W7 - if this matters. | | | |

Hi Csaba
If you copied the correct settings file to the right location it should work.
Check your path and file name under Tools>Options>General>Miscellaneous.
Please note that the settings file doesn't include user interface settings etc., for which you would need to delve into the registry (not as scary as it may sound) - see "Back-up: Which registry keys do I need to back-up if I want to save all settings of DVX?" at http://forums.atril.com/ubbthreads7/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=787 (if you aren't registered for the forum yet you'll need to register to see that page).
Kind regards
