Case

Not first export of file from DVX3 to removed inbetween exports USB-drive.
DVX3 writes «It can't export file» and first thing I think «Some bad codes appears in file».

I've checked codes. Nothing but can't export again. I spent more that 10 minutes to understand the cause of problem.
(and it's really not obvious, cause initially DVX3 write file to temp dir)
Why DVX3 do not check export dir each time at export?

I have come across this error now and then, especially when translating Excel files. My solution was to copy the translated columns in DVX3 and paste it into the Excel file. Of course the lack of error messages is frustration, so after 3 or 4 attempts you give up. I also have Trados 2007 -3012- 2015, and have never come across such export errors. If there are many Excel files concerned , I have exported the TM and run it quickly through Trados to save time. As stated above, no export errors in Trados. The lack of advice in DVX3 is something that needs to be checked very soon.

I have come across this error now and then, especially when translating Excel files. My solution was to copy the translated columns in DVX3 and paste it into the Excel file. No answer from Atril.
I bought Atril's program via Proz in December. I was informed that I have only 2 installation attempts.
After the 1 attempt I have the program that doesn't work. We've done everything, including full reinstallation.
Now I can't use my laptop, I don't have April's product.
Perfect.
