Hello everybody !!
My problem is simple. My customer sent me several files in FrameMaker 6.0 -she uses Mac- for En>>Spa updating purposes. I processed them on my PC (obviously, Windows based) with FrameMaker 7.0.
I have delivered the files in FM 6.0, MIF and txt formats and she still cannot open them.
Today I switched the "Cross platform file naming" to Macintosh (on File > Preferences > General) as I read some troubles could arise due the name of the file and resent the files in the formats above.
I have not received her feedback yet, but I feel it will not work.
I do not think it is a matter of platforms as I have been working with the same customer since 2004, but with another DTP gurú -now retired- and have had no problems.
Therefore, I just need someone who has FrameMaker to send him a file and tell me wether he can open it or not.
That's all folks !!!
