Ik ben eigenlijk wel benieuwd naar de marktaandelen van de verschillende CAT-tools in de nederlandse markt.

Ik denk dat WF toch wel goed is voor zo'n kwart of dertig procent van de markt. Je moet ook rekening houden met de verschillende versies.
Overigens kunnen de cijfers elkaar overlappen, want veel vertalers hebben meerdere tools.
En ook verschil maken tussen (al dan niet gratis) gebruiken en een licentie gekocht hebben.

Marktleider is Trados, goed voor een marktaandeel van 50%. In de vertaalafdelingen van bedrijven en overheidsinstellingen wordt zelfs uitsluitend Trados gebruikt. Freelancers en vertaalbureaus maken ook gebruik van andere programma's, zoals DéjàVu (19%), Wordfast (11%), StarTransit (9%) en SDLx (5%). De programma's Multitrans, Fusion en Across kennen telkens slechts één gebruiker.
Dat is natuurlijk nu ook alweer een tijdje geleden ... Kwestie van tijd tot er een nieuw onderzoek komt, denk ik.

Puur natte vingerwerk.....
Zelf ken ik Wordfast helemaal niet, maar blijkbaar wordt deze software toch nog aardig veel gebruikt.
