Je me permets de poster une question sur ce forum que je trouve toujours très informatif.



Voici ma situation: Je suis actuellement traductrice en interne dans une SSII française, mais au mois de mars je quitterai cette société, ayant accepté le licenciement économique.

Voici ma situation: Je suis actuellement traductrice en interne dans une SSII française, mais au mois de mars je quitterai cette société, ayant accepté le licenciement économique.



Quand j\'ai pris cette décision, j\'avais l\'intention de devenir traductrice indépendante, en profession libérale. Cependant, depuis, j\'ai appris que j\'ai été acceptée par l\'UE pour travailler au sein du Conseil des Ministres. Bien sûr, vu les délais d\'embauche de l\'UE, je ne sais pas quand je serai appellée - cette année, l\'année prochaine, voire plus tard... je n\'ai aucune idée.



En attendant, je voudrais quand-même essayer de travailler en freelance. J\'ai quelques clients potentiels déjà, et des liens avec quelques agences de traduction. Je me demande, donc, comment procéder.



Selon ce que j\'ai lu, les formalités de l\'URSAFF sont assez compliquées, et comme je ne vais pas travailler en freelance pour toujours, je ne sais pas si ça vaut la peine.



L\'autre solution possible est celle du portage salarial. Les avantages pour quelqu\'un dans ma situation sont évidents : travail administratif reduit, et la possibilité d\'arrêter mon activité du jour au lendemain.

Cependant, j\'ai plusieurs questions sur ce mode de travail : par exemple, est-ce que j\'ai le droit d\'avoir mon propre site Web, des cartes de visite, plaquette..., ou dois-je rester \"rattachée\" à la société de portage ? Et que se passe-t-il pour les petites commandes, les travaux de moins d\'un jour, par exemple? Les sociétés de portage acceptent-elles de si petites factures ?



Pour ceux qui connaissent ces deux modes de travail, pourriez-vous me donner quelques conseils ? Serait-il trop fastidieux/cher de m\'établir en tant qu\'indépendante en profession libérale ?

A single form to fill in, which is then forwarded by URSSAF to all the other administrations involved - not really all that complicated!

To answer the question about wether you can market yourself on your own, you can, always, unless you sign an agreement that you won\'t. Never sign anything like that. That\'s all. The day you do, you\'re dead.



I do not have an extensive knowledge of these \"sociétés de portage\", but from the adverts I received, it seemed that they were rather keen to have you promote your activity.



Since you talk about it, I guess you have one in mind. The best is that you give them a call and clear it up. It always easier to negociate arrangements before you sign up.

I guess I am leaning towards \"portage\", at least initially, while I find my feet. I suppose I\'m just apprehensive of getting tangled up in French paperasserie for what may end up being a very short career as a freelancer...
